Dear All,
Hi, how are you? It’s been a long time.
I’ve been working on my new novel, which I’m trying to devote myself 100 % of what I can do now – half done now, another half needs to be fixed.
Also, I’ve been thinking about my future plan – as I told you, I was going to go abroad and meet people and learn things – but as some of you suggested, I could stay in this country – that’s definitely another option.
My aim hasn’t been changed. I want to spread and introduce the idea of a network of love and compassion which is truly and realistically exists, and share with you. As for a direct action, writing is my method. In theory, I can write in anywhere but I need a secure place to concentrate. I could be anywhere, I need to be somewhere specific, both are true. Humm.
Considering the situation of how Japan is, it’s no worse nor better. Well, you could see it as getting worse or lull, but – I don’t know, all I know is that it’s going to be better and alright, but it requires everyone’s effort, surely including myself.
All I know is that I am enjoying writing. I know that this is what I want to do now. However, as for the future – I don’t know. It seems there are too many possibilities and options, potential ups and downs. And I met an inspirational character, he’s a friend of friend of mine- he travels around and never decide where and what to do beforehand, just believing himself that he’s been guided to the right direction. He’s stable, caring and considering (and a bit odd like myself) – basically very nice and again, very inspirational.
Like your comments, I appreciate people around keep giving me inspirations. New ideas, another way of thinking, different aspects of the event – everyone has different perspectives and philosophies. I found they are all precious and beautiful, it’s a dazzling truth – and then when I feel dizzy, I know that I need to pull myself together.
From this evening, I’m going to Kansai (Western part of Japan) where Kyoto and Kobe are. Kobe, as I mentioned last blog entry, means The Gate of God. That inspirational character is from Kobe, and insisted that I should feel some energy of the place. That’s the only reason for my trip, nothing else. I just want to be there and as I was inspired, I’d believe in something within me is guiding to the right direction. And hopefully, I could finish up my novel.
Everyone whom ever been to Kansai after the quake, all saying that there will be completely different atmosphere. Apparently, Japanese everyday life which is no longer exist in Tokyo is still preserved.
I will experience things and let you know – as we all know, traveling is fun but also makes you feel lonely time to time, and the best medicine for homesickness is always writing letters to your old friends so I will keep you updated.
All my love,
Akira
Akira-san, next week, I will...
Akira-san, next week, I will be in Kyoto. It will be very interesting to see how the brave Japanese people cope with the aftermath of the desasters caused by earthquake, tsunami, and the difficult situation in Fukushima. I have great, very high respect for all who work hard to master all challenges and to rebuild a beautiful country. Best of luck for your own endeavors, whatever destination you end up choosing!
